How to Participate

1. To participate in an action you need to be registered. To register for the auction you fill our online registration form or contact Ashvin Auctioneers office directly.

2. As registered member you shall have to pay caution money for each individual auction as prescribed in the auction terms and conditions document. This CMD will be valid only for one auction.

3. On receipt of CMD you shall be allocated a unique username and password. This username and password will allow you to login when the auction is going on. EACH USERNAME AND PASSWORD ARE VALID FOR ONLY ONE AUCTION. For taking part in another auction separate CMD has to be given and a different username and password will be generated.

4. One the day and time specified for the action visit the site ashvinauctioneers.com and login with the username and password give to you. The auction for which you have registered will be displayed along with the lots.

5. Details of each lot will be displayed along with a 'Bid Now' link. Click on the link to place a bid for that particular lot.

6. Clicking on the 'Bid Now' link will display the lot details along with previous highest bid, minimum increment and a form to enter your bid.

7. Enter your bid in the box given. You will need to retype your bid again to confirm the bid and avoid mistakes. The bid amount must be greater than the last highest bid + minimum increment.

8. Click on the 'Submit Bid' button. If your bid is accepted you shall be notified about the same or if the bid is not valid you shall have to reenter the bid amount.

9. THE AUCTION WILL BE CLOSED EXACTLY AT THE TIME SPECIFIED IN THE AUCTION DETAILS. NO BIDS WILL BE ENTERTAINED AFTER THE CLOSING TIME. ASHVIN AUCTIONEERS ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR BIDS PLACED IN THE LAST TWO MINUTES WHICH MIGHT NOT REACH THE SERVER DUE TO TECHNICAL PROBLEMS OR TIME-LAG. BIDDERS ARE URGED TO PLACE THIER BIDS WELL BEFORE THE LAST FEW MINUTES OF THE AUCTION.

10. ASHVIN AUCTIONEERS WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR UNFORSEEN PROBLEMS SUCH AS TIME-LAG, HEAVY TRAFFIC OR POWER FAILURE AT THE USERS END. THIS IS ESPECIALLY IMPORTANT DURING THE LAST MINUTES OF THE AUCTION. BIDDERS ARE REQUESTED NOT TO POSTPONE BIDDING TO THE LAST MOMENT.

11. ACCEPTANCE OF THE BID ONLINE DOES NOT GURANTEE SALE OF THE LOT TO THE BIDDER, THE BIDS WILL BE PROCESSED BEFORE CONFIRMATION OF THE SALE AND RESULTS WILL BE DECLARED SOON AFTER. WINNING BIDDERS WILL BE NOTIFIED OF FINAL RESULTS.

12. IN CASE OF CLERICAL ERRORS WHILE BIDDING DUE TO OVERSIGHT OR URGENCY THE BIDDER MUST INFORM ASHVIN AUCTIONEERS OF THIS ERROR IMMEDIATELY. IN SUCH CASES ASHVIN AUCTIONEERS WILL TAKE THE APPROPRIATE DESCISION REGARDING THE LOT.

13. After you have placed a successful bid for a lot you may view other lots and bid for them in the same manner.

14. PLEASE READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS PROPERLY BEFORE REGISTERING AND PLACING BIDS.
